This was a new start-up wanting to create a new video recruitment platform and we were asked to undertake the original branding and website.
After an initial discovery meeting and various Skype calls, we brainstromed some ideas to come up with the name by combining the words ‘video’ and ‘you’. I created a few initial concepts, exploring different colour palettes and typographic styles. The final chosen logo was a custom typeface, utlising some negative space between two letters to form a video play symbol.
With the branding in place, I then began wireframing various pages of the new web platform and produced flat visuals and some illustations to show users how the platform worked in a simple step by step way. Unfortunately due to reasons surrounding one of the the client’s investors, our involvement stopped at the design stage. We did however receive very positive feedback on the design work that had already been carried out.
